Chromecast:
If you want to use Chromecast when watching via a web browser, either a computer with Google Chrome or an Android device with Google Chrome is required, then the Chromecast icon should appear as expected. When you visit a broadcast or video clip, the Chromecast icon will appear in the bottom right of the player. Click on it, and select the Chromecast you want to cast to.
Unfortunately, iOS devices with Google Chrome cannot be Chromecast to at this time.
If you can't see the icon, there are a few things you can do:
- Make sure your Chromecast is plugged in and connected to the network
- Make sure your computer is on the same network as the Chromecast
- Update your browser to the latest version.
AirPlay:
If you want to use AirPlay via a web browser, an iOS device in combination with Safari is required for it to work.
Platforms that have an app via Staylive, have full support for both AirPlay and Chromecast. If you experience problems via AirPlay, try sending the signal over via AirPlay's built-in function if you are using screen sharing.
Devices we recommend for casting:
- Android version 12 or newer
- iOS - latest version
- Browser with Google Chrome
- Chromecast version Gen 3 or 4
- Apple TV gen 4 and up
- Staylive apps
